		<description>This is a beautiful theory - and also interesting as another writer of ring lore -JRR Tolkien - contructed his own theory of everything where reality is made up entirely of music/sound (ref. The Silmarillion). It&#039;s pretty ironic that his theory is so democratic, entropic, and ultimately quite science-friendly considering he was a devout Christian - and his own epic about a ring was suffused with traditionally Biblical parallels.

Just a note of interest!

And I&#039;m not sure if &#039;The Elegant Universe&#039; can be called unbelievably accessible - as a 100% layperson, I do find him much more accessible than Hawking when discussing physics...but I still go into the same neural meltdown about 1/3 of the way into the book :) I&#039;ll keep trying.</description>
