Duffy - Rockferry Album Cover
This is Duffy.
You will be getting to know her well this year; the U.S. release of her U.K. debut Rockferry is set to hit shelves on May 13. (In the meantime, you can get it here.) Her unusually mature vocal quality has the whispery crackle of 60’s soul by way of Dusty Springfield, and the album sounds like a woman’s coy flirtation at an after-hours velvet lounge.
